Paddlers to talk canoe connections

The community is invited to the Olympic Peninsula Paddlers’ September meeting, set for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the Solana Clubhouse, 135 Solana Parkway, Sequim.

The presentation will be “S’Klallam People and Water Relatives – Canoe Journey Connection.”

Loni Greninger, Jamestown S’Klallam Tribal Vice Chair, will offer an overview of ancient S’Kklallam canoe culture, canoe journeys and how it all has evolved through the centuries.
