Sprint boat season kicks off Saturday in Port Angeles

The American Sprint Boat Racing Association (ASBR) kicks off its 2023 season Saturday and Sunday, July 29-30, at the Extreme Sports Park in Port Angeles.

Races start at 10 a.m. Saturday for qualifying runs, with finals set for Sunday. Gates open at 8:30 a.m.

Competitors will be arriving in Port Angeles this week to compete for cash and points toward the 2023 season championship.

ASBR racers are back in Port Angeles for the the third race of the season, set for Sept. 9-10 back at the Extreme Sports Park. Races No. 2 and No. 4 are at the Ontario Speedway in Ontario, Ore.; see ontariospeedway.com.
